Brief note reiterating what the rating system is here at WP Plugins A to Z. I have used the Dragon Rating system since about episode 20 or so after it was suggested by one of my listeners, due to my over-usage at the time of a dragon song. It goes from 1 to 5 and getting a 5 out of me is usually pretty hard. 3 is pretty common and means a good plugin, 4 is great, 5 is outstanding. 1 and 2, well, they happen and when it does it’s probably best to avoid that plugin.
With that lets dive right into the meat and potatoes.
I have a great set of plugins for you today!

The Winner for the GraphComment plugin is Randolph P.
The plugin which offers a free & powerful comment plugin for great discussions, easy reading, and without trolls
No more disorganized discussions piled on several pages. With GraphComment, your audience can easily follow the relevant discussions.
Insert all comments to the WordPress database. This also allows you to revert to WordPress default commenting without losing any comments that you had while using GraphComment. I reviewed this plugin in Episode 394

The Lowdown:
This is an interesting plugin that let you get a bit more attention when you get new commentators on your website. With this plugin after someone comments on your site for the first time you can then redirect them to a unique page where you can simply say “thanks, it is much appreciated” or you can give them some other added bonus.
It is a great way to help your commentators feel appreciated for tasking the time to leave you a comment.

The Lowdown:
Get the real Time On Site and Bounce Rate in Google Analytics. Google Analytics calculates the Time On Site based on the length of time between a user entering your site and their last page view. This won’t give you the REAL Time on Site and Bounce Rate stats.
This plugin helps intercede and ad some activity when a user is on your site so that the real bounce rate can be calculated. Here is a couple examples they quote:
Worst case scenario:
A visitor is very interested in one of your pages and takes 2 minutes and 13 seconds to read the article. After this he bookmarks the page and leaves.
This visitor stayed 2 minutes and 13 seconds on your page, but never interacted with it. To Google that is a bounce! And bounced visits are marked 0:00 Time on Site. Not fair, right?
Another bad scenario:
A visitor goes to your website and stays 1 minute and 11 seconds on the first page. Then, he goes to a second page where he stays 1 minute and 12 seconds. Without any interaction on this page, he leaves. Since Google doesn’t know how long your visitor stayed on the second page, Google will add only the time the visitor spent on the first page to Analytics. Not fair, right?
This plugin sets this straight. It will tell Google Analytics every 10 seconds that your visitor is still on the page and that there was some interaction on that page. Your page will be “unbounced”. It’s all based on a script made by Brian Cray and is totally accepted by Google.

ClassicPress Options
Since the release of Gutenberg, and it fallout ClassicPress has garnered allot of attention. This is a fork of WordPress and is focused on Business Websites and is looking pretty good. It does seem in the past few months ClassicPress is coming into its own a bit and with some plugins now being created specifically for ClassicPress I do believe it has a future.
The Lowdown:
This one is a great step forward for ClassicPress, if you are like me and use the TinyMCE and are looking for a replacement for your ClassicPress install this would be it.
The WYSIWYG Advanced plugin adds lots of additional options to the ClassicPress visual editor. This plugin is a fork of TinyMCE Advanced v4.8 for WordPress and contains no Gutenberg code.
Rating 4 dragons
Side note: I noticed that when you are doing a search using the repository it show you right away if the plugins are compatible with your version of Classic Press. You can also search with the tag “ClassicPress” to find plugins made to work in ClassicPress

next up I have:
Reduce Bounce Rate
https://wordpress.org/plugins/reduce-bounce-rate/

This weeks ClassicPress plugin is:
Advanced WYSIWYG Editor for ClassicPress
https://github.com/johnalarcon/wysiwyg-advanced
The Lowdown:
This one is a great step forward for ClassicPress, if you are like me and use the TinyMCE and are looking for a replacement for your ClassicPress install this would be it.
The WYSIWYG Advanced plugin adds lots of additional options to the ClassicPress visual editor. This plugin is a fork of TinyMCE Advanced v4.8 for WordPress and contains no Gutenberg code.

Side note: I noticed that when you are doing a search using the repository it show you right away if the plugins are compatible with your version of Classic Press. You can also search with the tag “ClassicPress” to find plugins made to work in ClassicPress
To find a listing of ClassicPress specific plugins check out this link https://forums.classicpress.net/t/plugins-built-specifically-for-classicpress/1011?u=codepotent there is currently 37 plugins here and growing I look forward to the day they have their own repository. I can still recall WordPress when it had a small repository.
Closing out this Episode The Plugins I covered were:
John’s Plugins: Ultimate Product Catalog Plugin – 3, WP Email Users – 3, Comment Redirect – 4, Reduce Bounce Rate – 4, Advanced WYSIWYG Editor for ClassicPress – 4
