The Lowdown:
I was working with a theme for a client that needed repairs and to get some functionality fixed. They were also having issues with dealing with setting up their simple galleries using the media library. I showed them how well it works and there was the problem is that the theme conflicted with the gallery and since they are not in a position at this time to upgrade their site, I opted for a plugin solution to popup the images in a light box.
This plugin solved that problem in a beautiful way and even improved all the other images display on the site.

CBX Currency Converter (freemium)

The Lowdown:
While working on a client project I had need to find a good easy to use free curreny converter. There are lots to choose from but many require manual setting and changing of the base curency and some have a fee attached to the API needed to acces a sourde for automatic updates.
This one is easy to use and is free and after a couple minutes of setting up for a free API you have access to about 95% of the world currencies. The setup is fast and easy and it fits beautifully into the theme design and only a couple minor CSS tweaks for a perfect fit.
The premium version does offer you the ability for custon conversionas and bitcoin so could be of use to some.

ClassicPress Options
Since the release of Gutenberg, and its fallout, ClassicPress has garnered a lot of attention. This is a fork of WordPress and is focused on Business Websites and is looking pretty good. It does seem in the past few months ClassicPress is coming into its own a bit and with some plugins now being created specifically for ClassicPress I do believe it has a future.
One thing I am looking forward to in the ClassicPress World is the expansion of the number of ClassicPress specific plugins and their own repository. Currently there are not a lot of ClassicPress specific plugins but I do know it is going to grow and I’ll have to expand this segment then. Who knows, it could take over the whole show.
