Benefits – Benefits – Benefits

Having a review done by us or having an interview helps the traffic to the developers website, as was bought to our attention recently when we did an interview and reviewed a plugin for a developer who sent us snap shots of their traffic before and after the shows. The traffic stayed, so there are great benefits to being reviewed by WP Plugins A to Z. Submit Your Plugin Here.

Today I have 4 great plugins for you.

To start off I have a couple plugins that I have yet to use but thought you might want to know they exist. Keep in mind the ratings are based off the descriptions on their site and using their demo if available.

What they say:
Groundhogg provides the essential tools for you to be able to communicate with your list effectively.

Use Benchmarks (interactions with your site) to trigger Actions with your list to provide a more meaningful conversation.

Groundhogg provides tools that allow you to create and implement high converting email marketing funnels in a matter of minutes. If you’re new to marketing, Groundhogg also comes with pre-built funnel and email templates to speed up the process.

Manage contacts, automate followup, send emails and so much more without ever leaving the comfort of your WordPress dashboard.

This plugin is 100% FREE and is currently available within the WordPress repository and requires not outside cloud service to work.

My Thoughts:
This looks to be a CMS plugin that will send the emails though your server, which could be problematic if you have quite a few. They do offer an email service using credits and several extensions to the plugin to make it usable with the following items:

  • WooCommerce
  • Easy Digital Downloads
  • WP Simple Pay
  • WP Forms
  • Gravity Forms
  • Forminator
  • Ninja Forms
  • Contact Form 7
  • Contract Signing
  • Advanced Form Builder
  • Social Proof Popup
  • Email Countdown Timers

We did a review in Episode 381 on this plugin and an interview in Interview 29.

MalCare Security Solutions

What they say:
MalCare is a comprehensive and powerful security plugin for WordPress websites. It was developed from grounds up after analyzing more than 240,000 websites over the course of 2.5 years. It uses collective intelligence from its network of sites to keep a WordPress website protected against malware, hackers and the rest.

MalCare comes with a Powerful Scanner that focuses on the speed and accuracy of identifying malware. Early detection saves websites from being blacklisted by Google or banned by web hosts. Accuracy in detection ensures minimal false alerts. MalCare goes beyond regular scanning methods to look for complex malware that typically goes undetected in other popular security plugins.

MalCare’s industry-first One-Click Automatic Malware Removal feature removes all traces of malware with surgical precision. This ensures that after cleaning, hackers can’t access the website via a backdoor. More importantly, the entire process is automatic and you don’t have to share your site’s credentials to an external security personnel.

The security plugin comes with a Login Protection feature that helps protect the login page against brute force attacks. And the Firewall prevents bad IP addresses from accessing your site, therefore, preventing any possibility of a security breach.

MalCare makes it easy for users to take Site Hardening measures recommended by WordPress. It also comes integrated with a complete Website Management module that ensures you can update plugins, themes or even WordPress core from the MalCare dashboard. From the dashboard, you can also add and delete users of your WordPress website.

MalCare also provides White-Labeling and Client Reporting, two very useful features for agencies and developers. Moreover, with MalCare’s Clients and Team Members Management features you can choose to add or delete users, change their roles and even password.

That’s not all. MalCare offers secure and reliable backups (powered by BlogVault) that are accessible for up to 365 days.

The latest addition to MalCare Security Service is the Uptime Monitoring and Performance Check features. The Uptime Monitor informs users if their website is down. And the Performance Check offers users detailed information regarding their website speed.

The next plugin I have for you is:

WP Time Capsule

Requires:3.9.14 or higher
Compatible up to:6.4.4
Released:11 November 2014
Last Updated:21 December 2023
(4.1 star out of 5)

The Lowdown:
This is a backup plugin that could save your bacon if your site has any issues. It does incrementally backups and can backup to your favorite Cloud service. Dropbox, Google Drive, Wasabi or Amazon S3. Once the initial backup is made it monitors for changed files and database and backs it up on your schedule.

The files are not compressed so say if you’re using Dropbox and it then syncs to your computer you will see things as they happen. Also a great way to monitor any unusual files changes on your site.

The last plugin I have here today is:

Gutenberg Design Library

Freemium plugin

Requires:5.0 or higher
Compatible up to:5.1.18
Released:21 December 2018
Last Updated:07 June 2019
(4 star out of 5)

The Lowdown:

This plugin add design features to your Gutenberg site. on first use you will need to import the design features to your site. You get 50 initially an additional 50 when you subscribe to email and the you can purchase a subscription for 1000’s more.

What is does is have loads of prefab block you place that you can then edit to suit your specific needs. This is basically a bunch of reusable blocks for your Gutenberg site that you then need to edit with your own text. Some of it will be quite useful.
