To start off I have a couple plugins that I have yet to use but thought you might want to know they exist. Keep in mind the ratings are based off the descriptions on their site and using their demo if available.
BP Better Messages – is a fully featured replacement for standard BuddyPress Messages and can run without BuddyPress as well.
Plugin is fully backward compatible with BuddyPress Messages.

This plugin allows logged-in users to tag other registered users of blog while commenting on a post and contains following features –
1) Detects post comment box and auto suggest users while typing .
2) Tag more then one users in single comment .
3) Each tagged user will get an email notification .
4) Email body contains comment link , conversation string and notification body .
5) Plugin user can easily change mail format from plugin’s default mail format file .
6) Suggestion box display “display name” and avatar that will help to find correct one easily .
7) Plugin contains hooks for development point of view that would help to customize it.

The Lowdown
There is a great article on why this plugin exists here https://searchtraffic.com/rel-noreferrer-guide/ but on the whole it boils down to WordPress making some changes in its default settings for link creation. This is relevant if you are like me and use a lot of links that open in new windows.
What they have done is now it automatically adds rel=”noopener noreferrer” to the code. While the noopener is great for security the no refererrer impacts tracking of where a click comes from. The noreferrer removes all references to the site the click originated from for Google analytics does not pick up where it came from.

The Lowdown:
Well it looks like someone took to heart my hopes that there is a WordPress version of the Honey pot plugin for ClassicPress I covered in Episode 402 this is a new plugin and only has 10 installs as of this show.
This plugin activates and help prevent spam registrations in WordPress, WooCommerce and the comments box. Starting to like see the cross pollination of the the two CMS systems.
Simple easy and just works install and activate.

ClassicPress Options
Since the release of Gutenberg, and it fallout ClassicPress has garnered a lot of attention. This is a fork of WordPress and is focused on Business Websites and is looking pretty good. It does seem in the past few months ClassicPress is coming into its own a bit and with some plugins now being created specifically for ClassicPress I do believe it has a future.
This week’s ClassicPress plugin is:
Add Twitter Cards by azurecurve
The Lowdown:
This is a plugin you will want on your ClassicPress site so that when your visitors are sharing your posts on Twitter it adds the proper Twitter card.
Add Twitter Cards to attach rich photos to Tweets, helping to drive traffic to your website. https://development.azurecurve.co.uk/classicpress-plugins/add-twitter-cards/
Options allow:
Card Types of Summary or Summary With Images.
Excerpt or first 200 characters of post added to card.
Thumbnail or first post image will be added to card.
Side note I noticed that when you are doing a search using the repository it show you right away if the plugins are compatible with your version of Classic Press. You can also search with the tag “ClassicPress” to find plugins made to work in Classicpress
