Back in the early days of WordPress, John envisioned a show that would help people discover and master the incredible plugins that make WordPress so powerful. What began as a modest weekly chat has evolved into the WordPress Plugins A to Z podcast — now celebrating 16+ years and well over 1,000 episodes strong. Along the way, it has become a trusted voice in the WordPress community for honest plugin reviews, timely WordPress news, expert interviews, and practical tips that actually help site owners and developers succeed.

After years of building a loyal audience through the show, John realized the conversation deserved a permanent home. That’s how WPPluginsAtoZ.com was born — your go-to hub for finding, learning about, and choosing the best WordPress plugins on the market.

Meet the Team

John Overall brings over 25 years of hands-on experience developing, repairing, and managing websites and servers. Since 2009, he has focused exclusively on WordPress — offering hosting, development, maintenance, SEO, and training through WP Pro A to Z. He’s the founder and lead voice of the podcast, known for his straightforward advice and deep knowledge of what really works in the WP ecosystem.

Joining him as co-host is his daughter, Amber Linn Overall. Amber jumped into the WordPress world in 2019 and quickly made her mark with strong design skills, SEO expertise, and a fresh perspective that keeps the show lively and relatable. Together, this father-daughter duo brings both veteran insight and modern energy to every episode and every page on the site.
