This is a simple plugin to let you share recent posts via a shortcode onto any page or using the widget. Using the advanced parameters you can also limit the number of posts show, specify to use posts or pages, get specific categories or hide, show or limit the excerpts. You can use a custom image instead of featured image and pull author data if you like.
This looks to be a pretty good plugin for displaying recent posts.
If you use videos on your site and would like to have a system that uses WordPress comments to allow for comments on the videos this one is for you. It allows your visitors to select video time code to make the comment on instead of just the entire video. You can apply plugin to all videos or only videos you insert with a shortcode. It groups comment together if many people comment on same section of a video. You can set it to only allow comments during a specific point in the video and customize it in many ways.
