Major Update To WordPress For iOS Now Available

WordPress for iOS 3.9 has been released and it includes some major changes. The first thing you’ll notice is that the sidebar navigation has been removed. In its place is a tab bar-based layout. This has enabled many other visual changes throughout the app. Reader, comments, and notifications have been revamped. My favorite feature in this update is seamless inline commenting. This addition makes replying to comments feel like text messaging. Keep in mind that from version 3.9 onwards will require iOS7.

Looking for a plugin to create a job board on your website, well this one is it. This is a great plugin that offers you the ability to create a simple job board allowing visitors and member to create jobs. You can limit the access and customize the display with css. All in all a pretty good job board.

 Members List Plugin 3.6.3

The Lowdown.

If you need a way to list the members of your web site this one is for you. It allows you to select the fields to display for the listing it allows you to create specific lists of people to display and with a membership plugin you can lock the list down for members only. Combined with some CSS you can do some great tricks for layout and more.

Use the [insert] shortcode inside posts or anywhere else that processes shortcodes. This allows you to insert php templates, additional posts, or hooks anywhere that allows shortcodes.

While I thought this was a good plugin, it’s nowhere near the Caldera Endine / My Shortcodes plugin from David Cramer. Insert does not do a shortcode within a shortcode, like Caldera Engine does.
