Now 14 weeks into 2020 and now 2 weeks into the isolation game and while the world has changed in many ways my life has not changed at all..
In some places we are definitely heeded towards a dystopian future and in others people and communities are coming together to get though the challenge that has been placed in before us. As a race humans will survive and we will move into our new future but many sections of society will never be the same again.
We now have a new term that will become the norm after all it takes about 2 weeks to develop a habit and about a month to solidify it. The new term is “Social Distancing” and it is anything but Social it is “Anti-social Distancing” but it is becoming the new norm
So Relax people take a breath and realize that while our world is now changed forever we will get though it. Save your sanity and your Amygdala and find out why your not gonna die by listening to the No Agenda Show

ClassicPress Options
ClassicPress is a fast growing fork of WordPress that is starting to come into its own. ClassicPress is focused on Business Websites runs fast and is looking pretty good. There are a few plugins specifically for ClassicPress and all plugins for WordPress 4.9.9 work well on it. I do believe it has a future.
One thing I am looking forward to in the ClassicPress World is the expansion of the number of ClassicPress specific plugins and their own repository. Currently there are not a lot of ClassicPress specific plugins but I do know it is going to grow and I’ll have to expand this segment then. Who knows, it could take over the whole show.

The story of my life is to over complicate things and recently was no different when I was working on a new membership site to allow file uploads and to protect the files from prying eyes. I was going about it in an overly complicated way and once I got into it I discovered some great plugins that allow you to create a membership site that will allow people to upload files and images in such a way that you can protect them from the outside and all direct access. Here are those plugins.

This membership plugin is easy to use and setup have some good extensions and the free version gives you pretty much everything you need to make a great membership site to help lock down your site. You gain the ability to create and manage unique user profiles to allow specific needs.
You can protect the whole site or just specific sections with ease, set different levels of access for different members.

Forcing users on a membership site to be logged out can be an important part of your site security. This plugin does that by timing them out and then logging them off and if you add in the pro version for a few bucks you can force them to be logged out the moment when they close the browser.

The Lowdown:
I have covered this before but I have not covered the premium addon. With that you can integrate this pretty well into the membership plugin above to allow users to have their own select directory that they can upload to and not see anything else. This is a great way to allow your members to share folders or files in a secure way.
You can also get the add-on for Dropbox that allows you to integrate it there.
