This is a simple plugin much like the one I covered for ClassicPress in Episode 423 in that it adds a column in your installed plugins list to give you an idea of what version of WordPress your plugins are known to be compatible with. This could help you with diagnostics or determining if a plugin has become too old to use on your site.

Fresh Forms for Gravity

The Lowdown:
This is a simple plugin to add to your site to prevent caching of any page that has GravityForm shortcode on it. Simple to use just add the plugin clear your cache and no longer will you have to worry about your form page not working correctly with caching.
This plugin works for most caching plugins that honour the DONOTCACHEPAGE directive.
Caching plugins supported:
- WP Super Cache
- W3 Total Cache
- WP Rocket
- Autoptimize
- Comet Cache
- LiteSpeed Cache
- Hummingbird
- WP Optimize
- WP Fastest Cache
- WP Engine System
Caching plugins NOT supported:
- Breeze. It doesn’t support DONOTCACHEPAGE constant or filters to skip caching.
- SG Optimizer. It doesn’t support DONOTCACHEPAGE constant or filters to skip caching. Although it supports excluding GF scripts from minification and async loading, so this is supported.
CloudFlare and other proxies:
This plugin will add appropriate HTTP header to pages with a Gravity Forms to exlude the page HTML from caching. By default CloudFlare doesn’t cache the page HTML, it does only when you have configured it to “Cache Everything”. In this case, after activating the plugin, you need to purge cache in your CloudFlare account or wait for cache expiration to let CloudFlare know the page must be excluded from caching

ClassicPress Options
ClassicPress is a fast growing fork of WordPress that is starting to come into its own. ClassicPress is focused on Business Websites runs fast and is looking pretty good. There are a few plugins specifically for ClassicPress and all plugins for WordPress 4.9.9 work well on it. I do believe it has a future.
One thing I am looking forward to in the ClassicPress World is the expansion of the number of ClassicPress specific plugins and their own repository. Currently there are not a lot of ClassicPress specific plugins but I do know it is going to grow and I’ll have to expand this segment then. Who knows, it could take over the whole show.
