The Lowdown:
Yes it is happening again the QR Code is coming back into Vogue, I have begun seeing it used in adertising again and on websites. This time though it seems to be much easier to sue than before as newwer phones just reconise the QR code right int he photo app.
This is a grat plugin that is simple to use and allows you to create a QR code you can change the URL for at any time without having to recreate the code. You could create a code for a contest and change the landing page on a whim just by going in and changing the redirect for the code.
It is self contained and you do not need a third party service to generate the code as long as you are on a good hosting provider like JohnOverall.com that will geneerate the code for you.

The Lowdown:
Its a bit misleading in thier description where it says “Free Anti Spam Plugin” and also says Free trial then $8 per year. Not a problem just a bit misleading I feel.
This is a pretty decent antispam plugin and does a good job of helping to keep your forms and comments sections free of spam. It will also filter out spambot registrations to your membership and buddypress sites. Filter out woocommerce spam reviews and more.
Setup not too bad you will need to register on thier site to get your API key and insert it into the plugin and away you go.

The Lowdown:
Today more than ever speed on your site is an important SEO factor. The new format of image WebP which is a smaller faster image to be delivered, at the moment not all browsers support it and it is not an easy one to make in your image editing editing software.
This plugin auto creates the WebP images provided you are on a good host that has the software installed such as JohnOverall.com hosting. when it creates the extra images they are the onse delivered to browsers that support it and the original images are delivered to others. this most prevalent for mobile devices that support this file type so could greatly increase your speed in mobile devices.

ClassicPress Options
ClassicPress is a fast growing fork of WordPress that is starting to come into its own. ClassicPress is focused on Business Websites runs fast and is looking pretty good. There are a few plugins specifically for ClassicPress and all plugins for WordPress 4.9.9 work well on it. I do believe it has a future.
One thing I am looking forward to in the ClassicPress World is the expansion of the number of ClassicPress specific plugins and their own repository. Currently there are not a lot of ClassicPress specific plugins but I do know it is going to grow and I’ll have to expand this segment then. Who knows, it could take over the whole show.
