Marcus is now available for phone consultations at https://marcuscouch.com/call. If you need help with WordPress, Podcasting, SEO or general Internet Marketing help, the new Clarity.fm platform is an easy way to schedule and pay for a consulting phone call.

Additionally, because of my long running relationship with Godaddy, I have a new PROMO CODE for Godaddy users out there. If you use Godaddy Code MARCUS249 you can get a .com domain name from Godaddy.com for just $2.49. While this is not something that I would normally promote in the context of the show, the deal is too good not to share with the listeners.

Listener Feedback / Audio Clips

Gary  from https://www.controlyoursite.co.uk has a question he is looking for a plugin that makes a pdf, same as the css styled version for print.css I make. But not a third party pdf maker like Yoast’s, we all hate third party stuff don’t we :)

couple of suggestions where

As for a plugin you might try this one https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/pdf24-posts-to-pdf/  or maybe this one https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/printfriendly/

Syd loves the show and the Godaddy deal we provided.

Send to Kindle 1.0.3

The Lowdown:

This is a great little plugin that allow you to make your content kindle friendly. It is pretty straightforward and has one flaw I could find and that is getting the button to show a bit cleaner and where you want it to be.

WP to Twitter 2.6.5

The Lowdown:

Well it seems my fav twitter plugin no longer will authenticate with Twitter so I had to find a new option and this is it I think. It offers a great connection to twitter as well as several options for tweeting out posts. You can send when published, when edited and when a comment is made on the post. If you upgrade the plugin and yes its another freemuim.. Remember I predicted here on this show almost a year ago now with the rise of the Freemium Paid plugins.. If you upgrade this you can let all users on your site send to their specific Twitter accounts delay send your tweets and automatically resend your tweets.. Going to be changing out my site to see who this work in premium mode.

Append Link on Copy 0.1.1

The Lowdown:

This plugin is great for spreading your links.. lets face it content will be scrapped from your site no matter what you do, so the important thing here is to make it work for you by making them take a link back. This does a great job of doing that.. By forcing those that take snippets of your content and placing a link along with the cut and paste I think it help a bit.

This lightweight plugin provides a widget and shortcode to display related posts by taxonomies as links, full posts or excerpts.

Choose from single or multiple taxonomies and search for related posts in multiple post types. Posts that have the most terms in common will display at the top (also ordered by date). It’s easy to override the look of the widget or shortcode with a filter or by including your own templates in your theme. It’s also possible to get the related posts by using a function in your theme template files.

Rambling Last Words

Love the podcast. Listened to every episode and already 5 starred you before on iTunes and thumbs frequently on Stitcher!

My feedback – constructively accepted I hope… Consistency, Dustin Hartzler has this nailed with every podcast launching Tues mornings without fail, please try to do the same, because it rings true that we all (including me) look forward to listening to your show on the same journey we make weekly. In my case, on my 2 hour drive to my girlfriend and back each week at night – I look forward to listening to you and Marcus on my journey, and get disappointed when the podcast isn’t launched in time :(

I hope that doesn’t sound offensive – it’s just great to always know I can look forward to you guys regularly at a set time, without fail.

I know we all have lives to live as well and it can be difficult – but I really hope you can deliver and look forward to next week and beyond!!!) :)))
